Wool & Spoek just dropped a new video directed by Robin Lochmann. Sick new tune out on Discobelle records and it always helps to have a sweet video with the release. The video follows the journey of a frail, pasty white fellow, as he meanders through town with a home-made bomb strapped to his chest. His final destination is the disco. Boooooom!
Prime cinematography and editing paired with Magentic Man and some quintessential party shots has re-ignited the disco flame within me! EDC feels like it happened ages ago, yet I could again feel the energy of that entire weekend. Nothing like a couple-thousand people dancing their asses off while that ghetto bassline pounds so hard it moves the air!
“This right here is the electronic super group of the moment. Skream, Benga and Artwork together is every dubstep afficcionado’s wet dream.”

Killer video for this Coma Remix of Thomas Schaeben & Schad Privat’s Body Hotel. Fantastic cardboard shapes and a pair of turntables lay background for a mustachioed character sporting teal Ray-Bans! And as far as the music goes, I’d say its somewhere in the realm of indie-pop. It sounds kind of airy, very melodic at points, and still hooks you in with some nice synth-work to tickle your electronic side.

Just got word of Fake Blood’s new video for I Think I Like It. Pretty sure it dropped in April but I hadn’t seen it till just now! Ripe with a semi-vintage 70s vibe, this video loops and bounces around just like them choppy vox in the track. I think I like — I think I like — I think I like it — like it — like it…
Annnnd we’ll be posting our mega-EDC post hopefully by the end of the weekend — equipped with a video edit encompassing our entire journey through the land of electrik daiziez!
Very sexy and hip new video for MTV’s Push, coming from Nick Scott Studio. Not to mention, its all been produced with some very nice tunage in the background. Not entirely too interested in what Push is about here (which I couldn’t find much about anyway — I think maybe it’s a UK thing), but the short commercial spot is beautifully done. Pay attention for the “Pop” portion, which contained the LED tubes and the super hot blond chick!
And while we’re covering some art ground here, Hamburg-based DJ & Producer, FUKKK OFFF, just got himself situated with a new branding campaign. New logo, illustrations, and a spanky fresh website (which hasn’t gone live yet apparently), care of Pawel Pietryka.
This new advertising campaign for MTV Classic is utterly amazing! Delightfully retro and twisted up with a nice dosage of hip, UFO brings you some seriously well-produced visuals here.
