“I’m going to switch up the format for Save Sunday. If anyone wanted to see what they looked like before, Save Sunday 017 was my favorite over the last year. The new layout will be very different, however I’m still incorporating a monthly mini-mix of sounds I’m feeling. Every month we will select a charity. For every “Like” & “Share” on the original link the day Save Sunday is posted, I will donate 50 cents to the chosen charity. The first charity will be St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. As a precaution, I will lower or RAISE the amount donated per “Like” & “Share” at my discretion so that there is always a minimum donation every month & to ensure I can do this for as long as possible. Cool, let’s see how it goes. I’ll post a screen shot of the donation transaction, of course.

Uffie hit the scene about 4 years ago with ‘Pop the Glock‘, and her unique hip-hop influenced style captivated partygoers and blogophiles alike. Shortly afterwards she teamed up with Ed Banger Records and rolled out some serious bangers like ‘The Party‘ by Justice, and ‘Hot Chick‘  produced by Mr. Oizo. Well now 4 years later after splitting with her once boyfriend/producer Feadz, and having a child (Henrietta) her debut album ‘Sex Dreams and Denim Jeams‘ is finally ready to drop. We get some of the old singles we’ve already heard before like ‘Pop the Glock’ and ‘First Love‘ and some new ones like ‘Add SUV’ feat Pharrell Williams, and ‘NeuNeu‘. Her current single off the new album ‘MC’s Can Kiss’ is her back hand slap to all the ‘haters’ who say she can’t rap, and well frankly she dont give a fuck. With some banging remixes from Zombie Disco Squad, Starkey, and Mike D (read beastie boys) this tracks got a lil summin sumthing for everyone. My vote goes to the Starkey Re-did with the slower tempo and the extra special sauce that hits at around the 2:53 mark.
