MODESELEKTOR‘s new album dropped today and it sure did have some tasty treats to offer! It may not be the freshest moombah beat or the most grimey dubstep slap but it isn’t more of that “minute music” and definitely shows seb & gernot’s skill in the studio. Some really good artist collabs on this one as well, especially Thom Yorke!

We hope everyone had a fun and safe new year! It was a night well spent at Sea of Dreams in San Francisco, with awesome performances by Modeselektor and Mimosa. Here is the cyvtv recap..

Overall, it was a really good event with lots of fun things to do.

Modeselektor was having some sound issues during their set but they were killing it as usual. There is a $10 party at 103 Harriet tonight with a MDSLKTR extended set so we are definitely getting excited for Round II.

Mimosa was also doing extremely well last night just dropping bass-heavy awesomeness for us all to groove and now for you to enjoy as well.
