Brandon Hirzel (aka “Bemo”) and The Glitch Mob proudly present “Beyond Monday,” an experimental installation of art and sound. Live electronic music meets architectural projection-mapping synchronized in the depths of the Los Angeles’ industrial district, painting life back into the urban landscape through the celebration of electronic music, motion-design and film. Cinematographer David Myrick captures The Glitch Mob as they play Jazzmutant Lemur MIDI controllers in sync with Bemo’s detailed visual creations. Utilizing the city as their canvas and technology as their medium, this is truly a unique collaboration. “Beyond Monday” pushes the boundaries of modern digital art and marries the latest technologies in electronic music, motion design and film.

So my favorite blog hosted this design contest during the month of December. They were looking for album art for their mp3′s and a logo, and I was fortunate enough to win the album art section! Illustrator extraordinaire, Brett Stenson, won the logo portion of the contest, so go check his isht out too. He’s got some great work up on his flickr!
Here’s the design that ended up winning:

Here’s another submission that didn’t win:

They also gave me a post and an interview that you can see here! Thanks Squeegie!
