Calvertron live @ Public Works San Francisco 2/19/2011

Calvertron came through to Public Works’ a few weeks ago. Repping hard for the bangerang crew he layed down a serious bass assault. Somewhere in between dubstep and bangers Calvertron’s tracks have bassy yet fully developed acid riffs. The video can’t do the tracks justice nearly as well as the Funktion One speaker system that public works has installed. Photo set of the night can be found here.

Overall, it was a really good event with lots of fun things to do.

Modeselektor was having some sound issues during their set but they were killing it as usual. There is a $10 party at 103 Harriet tonight with a MDSLKTR extended set so we are definitely getting excited for Round II.

Mimosa was also doing extremely well last night just dropping bass-heavy awesomeness for us all to groove and now for you to enjoy as well.

Get your spatulas ready because this weekend is Hard Halloween. 2 days jam-packed with awesome talent and team CYV™ will be there to witness all the debauchery.
