This month at The Slump! its all about DJ controllers. Its not about the 1′s and 2′s anymore – its about *Dual* VCI-100s, Traktor S4′s, and even an iPhone. Ok so you think you know what goes on behind the booth, now take that image crush it, crunch it, rip it, and toss it into the can cus were raising the bar – Live Mashups, all 4 faders up, Cue Juggling, Wind ups, Looping, Chopping, 8-bit crushing, tag teamin, and REWINDS !!

Some very impressive controllerism work from Rafik (notice the X1 + Maschine combo)! Read up on the full post over at DJ Tech Tools, here. Big ups to Bay Area local Ean Golden for putting together such a useful and informative blog. We will most definitely be trying to get an interview with sir Golden himself, somewhere down the line.

I recently found information of Native-Instruments releasing a Traktor specific controller, due mid February 2010. I also found this sweet video of Richie Hawtin using them live @ Saturday Adventure Club! MMM sexy controllerism, and he’s using Maschine live too!
