It’s simple: Save Sunday is five songs, one mixtape, easy to play, easy to repeat, and of course download links provided for mobile enjoyment. All sounds get love so expect to find everything from booms to bangs.

Sundays never looked so good.

Warm up bass from the Virgina wonderkid, get them ears ready.

Glastonbury Essential Mix 2010

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

glasto500

The Glastonbury Essential mix showcases the best in new Club Bangers [Annie Mac, Toddla T] Drum-n-bass [Chase & Status] and Dubstep [Skream, Chase & Status] all packaged together into a 4 hour live broadcast. A lil background first – Glastonbury in the UK is like Coachella in the US, but way bigger. 2010 was its 40th anniversary and it featured 500+ artists on 45 stages (!!). All the tickets for 2011 already sold-out and they dont even release the lineup till spring.

The Glastonbury Essential Mix was hosted by Annie Mac in the ‘Shangrai-La’ dance grotto and was live broadcast to the world on BBC Radio 1 June 26, 2010 from 1am to 5 in the morning. In addition to a 1-hour set from Annie Mac – Chase & Status, Skream (sub’d in for Rusko), and Toddla T each had their turn at the decks. There is ‘more than alot’ of stuff to cover so continue reading to get the full scoop.

Whether you spin dubstep or electro this track is a valuable asset for your arsenal, or you can just sprinkle the acapella in before a big drop. I first heard it in the Magnetic Man Essential Mix, go listen up to see how they incorporate the track into their mix .. its a Certified Banger  for sure !!

Ultra-magnetic

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

Prime cinematography and editing paired with Magentic Man and some quintessential party shots has re-ignited the disco flame within me! EDC feels like it happened ages ago, yet I could again feel the energy of that entire weekend. Nothing like a couple-thousand people dancing their asses off while that ghetto bassline pounds so hard it moves the air!

“This right here is the electronic super group of the moment. Skream, Benga and Artwork together is every dubstep afficcionado’s wet dream.”
