For those of you who dont speak computer let me translate:

The Polish Ambassador is a beat machine from the future. Hailing simultaneously from the far reaches of other dimensional Universes and… Oakland, California, this dude drops his own unique blend of electro-funked, glitch-tweaked, wobble-freaked breakbeats that will have you dropping that bottom like it was 92…..3092, that is.

The Ambassador builds all of his live sets from a monstrous stash of original drums, bass, synth, and vox lines. “No Genre Left Behind,” Sugalski jokes as he blends elements of funk, glitch, idm, hip hop, 80s music, jungle, and dub into a beat soup that will instigate healthy doses of booty shake and fist pump.

Claiming to be Poland’s ambassador to the Universe, Sugalski has released 5 studio albums, all independently. Diplomatic Immunity in 2007, The Phantasmal Farm in 2008, I Found Him. Now I Must Kill Him in 2009, Mating Season (released under the Ample Mammal alias) and First Words in 2010. All 5 albums have obtained favorable press and achieved regular rotation on college, independent, and internet radio.

Its now 2011 and The Polish Ambassador just finished transmitting his latest album to distribution centers all across the galaxy. Its human readable title is ‘Future, Sex, and Computers’. It has already been responsible for massive system failure in computer systems throughout the globe, the most heavily hit region to date has been Northern California. The Polish Ambassador takes care of his people and just last week offered the whole album for free on bandcamp.com, and today its available for only 10$.

If you know me then – you already know mayne – ill be there glitching out.

Certified Banger

certified

Easily the most memorable part of the Magnetic Man Essential Mix is the drop from What you Talking About -> Certified Banger. We Heard it dropped live at Hard Summer – check out the end of this CYVtv [Youtube] clip – and it sounded unreal.

It might seem like a simple dubstep track  ’basshook+breakdown’ but if you listen from start to finish the bassline evolves after each bar culminating in a fiercely crisp top end. Even after you’ve heard the hook a few times the organic nature of the synth lead keeps your head banging for more.

Magnetic Man’s self titled debut album was released in the UK on monday Oct. 11th. Certified Banger was not included in the main release of the album, rather it is on the bonus disc included in the Albums 2-Disc deluxe version. When it gets released stateside the bonus tracks will be available alongside the Album tracks on iTunes.

Here are links to the album on Amazon UK and iTunes UK.
*(Unless you live in the UK you will need to use a proxy server to complete your purchase)

I got a 192 kpbs version for you to grind on your earbuds ..

B-r-r-r-raaHHH B-R-R-R-AAAHH

With dancefloors accross the country still recovering from their ‘Lazers Never Die’ tour, Major Lazer is set to drop a new EP by the same name on July 20th. Taking a break from some of the sooper bloopers we saw on ‘Guns Dont Kill People .. Lazers Do‘, the new ep reps a chiller vibe just in time for da summer. But one thing hasn’t changed, and that is the group of A-Listers that rolled through the legendary Tuff Gong studios to collab on da EP. Ok now for some mp3s — took some serious daggering …I mean digging, but I’ve got 3 of the upcoming singles off the EP for you here today!

1. Sound of Siren (featuring M.I.A. and Busy Signal) (128)
2. Good Enough (featuring Collie Buddz and Lindi Ortega) (128)
3. Bruk Out (Buraka Som Sistema Mix) (128)
4. Can’t Stop Now (K.L.A.M. Remix feat. Miss Banks)
5. Jump Up (Thom Yorke Remix)

Bonus: Ok, so you’re down with those tracks, but where are the new bangers at!? Well, Major Lazer and Afrojack have been playing out a follow up to the devastating ‘Pon De Floor.’ Some are calling it ‘Pon De Streets,’ others are calling it ‘Drive By,’ either way, its been slaying it. Heres a recent youtube clip of Major Lazer in philly dropping 2 unreleased tracks. The first one is unknown, but might be called ‘Original’ (?), and the second one is ‘Pon De Streets’.

Ohh and for all the ladies and fellas who need the 411 on daggering, check out Skerrit Bwoy‘s instructional video.
