Recently I took a journey from my town of adelaide and travelled to melbourne where I had the pleasure of meeting up with young gun producer ‘Kraymer‘. After his massive release with Will Bailey’s Simma records which had support and tune spinning from the likes of Mightyfools, he now drops another monster couple of records with ‘Vicious Bitch’, the sister label to Vicious.

The EP drops with big remixes from Sick Nifty, Tigre Hoods, Will Bailey and Jay Robinson while spanning genre’s of drum step, moombahton, bass line and acid house. Now as if that wasn’t enough, the release is completed with a nice little techno tune which seems a form of experimentation from Kraymer’s signiture bass line sound.

Currently in the midst of moving cities to Sydney, the future looks bright for this Australian producer, so be sure to keep an eye on him!

Monstrous feel-good bass is in the house today courtesy of Italian “turbofunk” pushers, Reset! Check out the “turbofunk” version of their new track “Don’t Let the System Control You,” a grinding, fidgetty funk-out that aims to remind people to exercise their free will, or… stick it to the man… or something.

While you’re at it, it’d also behoove you to catch a few measures of another truly funky chune, Reset!’s collab with Birdee entitled “Blowin’ Up.” And I hope Reset! & Birdee do blow up because they’ve seriously got it goin’ on!

Hijack is doing it right as usual. Today he brings us a brand new beat under the awesome Busta Rhymes sample he used previously in a collaboration with Santiago & Bushido. He titles the track “Pudding,” a potential obfuscation of the words in the sample (puttin’ it = pudding it), and uses a photo of Bill Cosby eating some kind of Jell-O pudding product as the artwork for the song. What more could we ask for?

A special treat are the pleasantly panned grinding gremlin sounds that enter at both 1:47 and 3:50.

Fusing house, electro, breaks, and a trace of hip hop into unquestionable dancefloor gold, Peo has earnestly worked his way to clubland notoriety. He meticulously crafts tracks that could just as easily be heard in the DJ sets of heavy hitters like Benny Benassi and Laidback Luke as in the more underground world of fidget and breaks.

Peo puts a heavy focus on his mixdowns, which means when you hear that Peo sound on a festival-size system, you will be experiencing a top-of-the-line brain-vasion.
