The Glitch Mob recently dropped the first remix of tracks from their Drink The Sea album, Fistful of Silence (Eskmo Remix). After massive feedback from people wanting to take a crack at a remix, the Remix It Like You Stole It competition was announced. Winners will have their remix featured with more well-known names in a full release for the Fall with all proceeds benefiting a charity for Haiti.
Grab the stems and Remix It Like You Stole It for a chance to have your track featured in the upcoming Drink The Sea Remix Album and have your music promoted by The Glitch Mob.
The Glitch Mob will celebrate the release in Fall 2010 during the band’s 25+ show US tour. Proceeds from the sale of the release through Download to Donate for Haiti v2.0 will benefit Music For Relief’s Haiti Earthquake Recovery, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing aid to victims of natural disasters and disaster prevention.
I just got my hands on some Chill Pill portable speakers. I’ve been out with them few times, and for their size, they can blow it up! Perfect for the park or some on-the-go music sesh’s, these guys pack a 6-hour battery and internal wiring so your always good to-go. They collapse down small enough to fit in your pocket, and best of all they only cost 40$. Grab them here.
So this year, A+ and I (Furan) journeyed down to Coachella on behalf of the CYV™ team. We documented our entire weekend with photos and videos and ultimately had one of the most epic Coachella experiences of our lives! So many amazing artists came down to perform, and the way the event was organized even seemed to be better than last year.
Oh Coachella! How you are so much fun!

Some very impressive controllerism work from Rafik (notice the X1 + Maschine combo)! Read up on the full post over at DJ Tech Tools, here. Big ups to Bay Area local Ean Golden for putting together such a useful and informative blog. We will most definitely be trying to get an interview with sir Golden himself, somewhere down the line.
I recently found information of Native-Instruments releasing a Traktor specific controller, due mid February 2010. I also found this sweet video of Richie Hawtin using them live @ Saturday Adventure Club! MMM sexy controllerism, and he’s using Maschine live too!
Hyphidelity brings you one of the most crackin' dance events in the South Bay, The Slump! Playing the best in House, Electro, Fidget & Dubstep at the infamous Agenda Lounge with a healthy rotation of guest DJs every month.
Next party: JULY 30 | Ft. Sticky K & Casey Masterpiece!
