On my first note, I’d like to mention that I know today isn’t Friday, and that I know this post is a day late. My scanner went on the fritz yesterday, I was stacked with errands and I couldn’t quite get around to getting this all together. I decided to start Fidget Fridays in an effort to install yet another mandatory post day into my schedule. I’ll be brining you some of the best fidget / electro I can get my hands on!

So anyways…I was browsing Beatport the other day in an effort to come across some new gems, and I came across the following two. I wasn’t able to track these down on the interwebs otherwise, so I picked ‘em up and they are now here (at 192k) for your listening pleasure. I’m especially into the first one, with it’s salsa-vibe horn stabs mashed into that squelchy fidget bass. And that second track is probably my favorite remix of AC Slater’s BanGer—its quite different than the original, but I think that’s why I enjoy it.

So its basically been a full week since I’ve posted…eep. But, I’ve finished off all my finals and now I can get back in the game!

Wow, its been awhile since I’ve posted on this blog cause I’ve been incredibly busy. With being as busy as I’ve been, I have been able to get some great jams for you readers to pick up! First one on the list is a remix that was done by a group here in Chicago called Only Children. It’s a Michael Jackson edit and so you know its good. Adds a little house vibe without changing the original vibe of the song. A must have!

Suzanne Vega! If you don’t who she is, here’s a youtube refresher course. You know you’ve heard VH1 bang this track circa 96. Well, Mr. Kid Kaio has done us the excellent service of sprinkling some afrocrackin’ flavor on this one. Goes pretty big and isn’t too heavy on the pitchbendy as per his usual agenda; so this one is definitely safer to play in a non-rave environment.
