Mikix The Cat joined the Trouble & Bass Crew in early/mid 2008, and has become a recognizable name in the land of big bass. He also operates under his other alias Momma’s Boy, releasing tracks falling into the subgeneres of house music, such as Wedouwedou (Direct Link), released on one of my favorite labels, Sound Pellegrino. Anyways, this kid puts out some seriously hard, bass-driven party blasters. This next track explodes after about a minute in, delivering a power-packed wobble and eventually some nice bouncy horn samples / vox stabs from KC & The Sunshine Band’s original. I love it!
