What She Came For

Monday, October 26th, 2009

I have not posted for awhile, so here is a dope electrofied-indie-party jam. It has a relatively basic rhythm so it is also pretty easy to mix. Lots of good vocals for transitions as well. Go ahead and try it out!

PS I have a surprise for you on Sunday!

G’d up!

Hailing from Antwerp Belgium is the almighty GTRONIC! His tracks never fail to grind you up with some heavy sawtooth action. Prepare to go big if your going to drop one of these babies. Both of these next tunes are sprinkled with some ravey blips and the latter of the two has some nice quick voc stabs that really add some extra flavor to the track.

Both of these were originally posted on Squeegie. Gotta give it up for those kids over there; they run a pretty legit operation!

Dope remix by my man Siriusmo. I’m sure you all know the drill. This track is good to use to go from a slower vibe to a faster one.

heads-will-roll-remix-ep-art

Ever since Annie Mac dropped this on her radio show in early October, kids have been scrambling to get a hold of this dance-floor killer! It’s pretty much the norm to expect nothing less than complete gold from Mr. Macklovich. (good thing we just call him A-Trak, right?)

Amidst a sea of internet rips and hype, I give you A-Trak’s remix of ‘Heads Will Roll’. Enjoy!

In another note, I’d like to apologize for the lack of posting. I’ve been on quite a mission to get this fidget / electro remix I’m producing finished up before this month’s party. I’ve got a couple more tracks to post a little bit later in the day to make up for a couple days worth of no music!

Switch, Dave Taylor

Hey kids! Furan here.

A key figure in the Electro-House genre, Dave Taylor (aka Switch) has been producing for over a decade and runs his label Dubsided. Also, if you didn’t already know that Dave is the other half of the DJ / Producer superpower known as Major Lazer, then you’ve been in the dark! Today we’re just going to focus on Switch though and I’ve got some baller tracks to pass your way.

Got Bass?

Danny Soundz makes big noise. His track Got Bass hits you with some nice sawtooth “wind-up” bass action amidst a whirlwind of nurave bloops and pitch bending nonsense! I can’t tell you how much I love this track..I wish every weekend was a dirty electro party so I could drop this beast on the regular. MMMH!

Unfortunately, I’m only allowed to post a preview, so you’ll have to hit up BeatPort and pick this one up yourself.

Jr Disco

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

Since I have not made a post recently I thought it would be a good idea to do two today. That’s why I’m dropping this dope disco house track by Jr Disco. The disco vocals work perfectly with the killer house beat to make this song a straight up banger. Don’t be surprised if you hear me drop it in a mixtape in the future.
